BCPSR one of the top D .Pharm colleges in Eastern India has a rich collection of books and journals. A well stocked library is a back bone of any institution. The library of the pharmacy college comprises of a specious, well-furnished and illuminated hall with a seating capacity for more than 100 students. There is a well-developed library having approximate 8500 text-books and reference books (about 800 titles), International National journals (Hard copy & E-Journals) & E-Books for nurturing knowledge of the students.
The library is computerized. To add to it, there’s Internet facility for online search that brings the world of information to the students. The CD – ROM collection include different subjects support the digital resources of the library. The library is updated every year and newer journals, books and abstracts are added to it. This helps the faculty members and students to keep themselves abreast of recent developments in the pharmaceutical sciences.
At present Bengal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Research one of the best pharmacy colleges in Eastern India has seventeen well equipped, well maintained state of the art laboratories… The laboratories are developed as per the norms of Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. These are designed and equipped with modern instruments to give the Industrial and research approach.
Treatments are given to our students and staffs by registered medical practitioner. Different clinical activities like measurement of blood pressure, sugar, BMI, distribution of medicine is done here.
The college has well-furnished seminar hall, which is equipped with state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and public address systems with Cordless Microphones at regular Venue to hold seminars and manage placement activities of the institute. This hall accommodates around 100 students to conduct pre-placement talks, group discussion, personal interviews and seminars.
The classrooms at one of the top college in list of pharmacy colleges in West Bengal are well designed with optimal room for natural light and air. A blend of traditional black board presentation and modern methods is opted for teaching. It enables the teachers to teach in a unique and innovative manner which makes the students feel involved in the teaching.
